Every first sunday of the month *DMchat holds a Digital contest on Digital Media Chat Room [link]
In the competition you have a THEME and a LIMITED TIME to finish your work.
Usually you have 1 hour to complete a work that involves digital (photomanipulation, digital painting, vectors, Pixelart...).

Last month I missed it, but this one I really wanted to be part of it. So I gave it a try.
These are my works and positions in the rounds:
1st round: Roaring 20s - 1 hour (2nd place)
2nd round: Fairytales - 1 hour (2nd place)
3rd round: Hollywood - 1 hour (3rd place)
4th round: Bodypainting "I love Digital Media" (I didn't compete ...to take a break LOL)
5th round: Black & White - 1 hour (not in Top3)
6th round: Sideshow - 2 hours (1st place!!!)

I'm really happy, because it's the first time I partecipated to it and I got a total of 6 months of subscriptions and I'll give 3 as a present to ~cielondulato

I'd like to see many of you next month on DMCHAT for the contest, it is real fun, and there are cool people

When they notified me by mail I was a bit sad because I was so close to first place. But later on when I have seen the other 2 works I became pissed.
Please guys give me a good motivation why I am 3rd...because I can't understand, and please be honest to me.

WTF.... yeah I really wanted that notebook... and yes, I'm competitive...

Ok guys this sucks...really...
Today my hand pain grew even more. I have to stop drawing or it will become chronic. My first 2 finger joints (the pointing finger and the middle one) are swollen and if I touch them it hurts.
I thought it was something else..but today I realized that it's because I drew too many hours in the past weeks.
Also my right arm hurts..from forearm to shoulder, I feel a weird sensation to the nerves, as it happens when you wake up in a werid position.
So..I started drawing with my left hand, I did this first sketch and I guess I'll do more till my right arm/hand will be recovered

It's been a hard and long week.
After winning the Winter Wonderland contest HERE ([link]) with Snow Dreaming:
I'm started another project and I have to finish it today. It's a short comic strip for another competition.

A part of me is happy and I feel confident in having good possibilities.
Another part of me keeps telling "you're not gonna do it this time!".
But probably I'm too focused in drawing lines and adding colours to listen too much to these voices. All I can do is working and crossing my fingers.

I'll let you know about it...
